ONE DAY WORKSHOP WITH MASTER FAYE LIP
MONKTON WYLD COURT, CHARMOUTH
SATURDAY 24TH MARCH 2012
10.00 - 12.30 and 2.00 to 4.30
FEES: For whole day £25.00 For half day £15.00
We are privileged to offer a day's workshop with this revered and popular Tai Chi and Qigong Master, Director and Instructor of the Deyin Instutue and a coordinator of the UK Branch of the Chinese Health Qigong Organisation.
Faye is a joy to work with and whether you are familiar with with the Qigong sets or not you will find the day both enjoyable and inspiring.
We propose to do Yi Jin Jing (tendon -muscle strengthening exercises) in the morning and the less physically demanding Wu Qin Xi (five animal frolics) in the afternoon.
For non-members of Charmouth Tai Chi Groups - an additional £5 towards the cost of hall hire is requested.
Monkton Wyld's own special vegetarian lunch is offered at £6 per head to be ordered in advance (with your booking onto the course) and paid for on the day. Otherwise you are welcome to bring your own packed lunch or take a break at a nearby hostelry. .If the weather is good, take a walk round the interesting grounds.
Annual Open Evenings - in September- when members from all the classes get together welcoming friends, relatives and other interested parties to join us in Chi kung exercises,self-massage for health, relaxation, demos and learning a simple set of forms. This is followed by refeshments and chat.
SPRING EQUINOX CELEBRATION - Tuesday 20th March 2012 - gathering at about 0700 to greet the sunriseEast Beach Charmouth. Sun rises at 0658 (appears round Golden Cap a little later). Essential to wrap up warmly - remember your gloves!
SUMMER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION - Thursday 21st June 2012 - welcome the sun at 0730. East Beach Charmouth. If you wish to bring your breakfast - do.
Anybody is welcome to join us on the beach to participate or stand around and enjoy the atmosphere.

CHINESE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
Monday 23rd January - welcome the Year of the Dragon. Lunch at SPICE Chinese Restaurant, Bridport. The restaurant is opening specially for Charmouth Tai Chi . Needs to be booked via Pam.
