Report on 2009 - a perfect morning for Tai Chi on the beach!!!
Autumn Equinox 2010 - Wednesday 22nd September - 06.45 am.
Report on 2009 - Dark, cloudy skies when we arrived but the clouds gradually dispersed and by 07.30 we were moving in a low bright sunrise which grew and warmed us as we practised. A light SW breeze made it a beautiful experience - as always. It is good to see so many enthusiastic tai chi players getting up so early to take part and share the energy.
Winter Solstice 2010 -Tuesday 21st December
This is often the most inspiring of all the four sunrise celebrations as the sun rises out of the sea - see the photo on Pictures page. Usually about 8.00 am - well worth the effort!
Report on 2009 - quite the lowest temperature we have worked in with frost on the beach- however 16 brave people foresook their warm beds to come and take part. Well worth the effort though and followed by our warming ginger drinks then coffee and croissants back at Pam's.
Anybody is welcome to join us on the beach to participate or stand around and enjoy the atmosphere. If breakfast is required afterwards, we do need to know to inform the hotel of our numbers (see Contact us).

A relaxing and inspiring weekend retreat was attended by 3 of us. Retreat led by Angus Clark in the most superb surroundings with warm (sometimes hot) weather. About 5 hours work each day and time for chats, walks, wine and laughter. Check out Angus's website for details of the 2010 Sharpham weekends.
Angus will be visiting Charmouth for a one day workshop. Strongly recommended for all who wish to experience something different and go deeper into their practise - suitable for all levels and beginners. See picture page for photos. Watch this space for details.
